Our ophthalmologist Dr. Merle Piik, one of the Pupilo founders, has been selling and writing contact lens prescriptions since 1997. Because contact lenses weren’t so easy to get your hands on and they were quite expensive at the time, we decided in 2009 to build a webshop where people could buy lenses from home and save money.
